ABOUT ME

I am a lover of food, fitness, plants and mandalas.

My passion for fitness developed in my own journey to find a body I felt strong and confident in without feeling like my workouts and diet consumed my life. I have gained the freshman fifteen (more like freshman 30), worked out from home, been intimidated at the gym, competed in a figure competition, done yoga, tried veganism. I’ve really been there, done that. I’ve been through it all and I made it to the other side, moving well, feeling well, and living a life that’s balanced.

My love of fitness and wellness lead me to pursue a degree in nutrition and exercise science.

Helping other women develop strength and balance in their own lives is what keeps my passion alive. I love helping others feel well, inside and out, and feel confident in not only their bodies but in their abilities as well.

I am here to lead you to the wellness you’ve been searching for, let’s start that journey!

Client testimonials

When it comes to finding a personal trainer online there are loads of commentators out there that talk a good game, but Skylar actually helps make your goals happen. She encouraged me, coached me and gave me the flexibility that I needed to be successful and stay on target. Skylar’s plans are challenging with a variety of workouts to keep you engaged. I highly recommend Skylar, she is very knowledgeable, relatable and supportive; everything you need in a personal trainer.

Going into this training, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am a chiropractor who has extensive biomechanics training and I have been athletic for several decades. I’m a runner, a swimmer, a surfer, I was lifting weights once per week and I’ve completed an olympic triathlon. I wanted to start the training program because I was hitting a ceiling with improvement, where when I pushed it further, I’d injure my low back or my left hip (despite being blessed with access to body work).

Within a few weeks, I felt myself getting stronger and have continued to see improvements with my strength, without feeling injured or worn out. I also look forward to my workouts. As a creature of habit, I tended to go back to the same old routine and this training keeps it fresh and provides results without having to feel depleted by overdoing it. I love it.
