Mountains

You are not in the mountains. The mountains are in you.
— John Muir

Mountains can teach us a lot

#1 - They’re challenging, we all are familiar with that

But also - the higher up you get, the conditions change.

Have you ever noticed when you set out for some big goal you know exactly the things you need for the initial ascent.

But as you continue along, things change - more is required. Or different things are needed that weren’t before.

This is where most people give up - the challenge becomes the obstacle - we turn around.

We lose sight of the end goal.

Instead of a full stop - shift to re-assess

  • Yes this is what I want

  • How can I make it happen

  • What tools / help do I need (coaches, family, equipment, all the things)

And then continue on.

Keep climbing.
